Job summary

Vertex Sigma Software in Foster City, CA, is looking for a Test Engineer to join the Product Software QA Team. The role involves both manual and automated testing for web applications like RiderDash, Concierge, and CoreDash. Responsibilities include developing Playwright test cases, performing manual feature testing, conducting vehicle mission tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for quality assurance. Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer with proven skills in testing large scale complex applications.
• Strong working experience in testing tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Bonus: TypeScript or JavaScript experience.
• Bonus: Playwright automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and expand Playwright automation test cases to enhance regression coverage and test efficiency.
• Perform manual testing for RiderDash, Concierge and CoreDash feature, releases, hotfixes, and pre-merge validations.
• Conduct vehicle mission testing and provide detailed reporting and analysis on mission outcomes.
• Utilize AI tools for process and test improvements.
• Support ZPT triage and assist in identifying, reproducing, and verifying defects across environments (Dev, Staging, and Production).
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product managers to ensure test completeness and feature validation readiness.
• Provide QA sign-off for release readiness and ensure all validation activities meet defined quality standards.
• Document test results, maintain traceability to requirements, and track issues to closure.
• Contribute to ongoing process and automation improvements within the QA organization.
