Job summary

Idaho Environmental Coalition is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist in Idaho Falls, ID. The role focuses on QA audits, regulatory compliance, and the development and maintenance of QA programs to meet project requirements.

You will assist with procedures, design documents, and change controls, while ensuring quality across procurement, supplier data, and training. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have thorough knowledge of ASME NQA-1, DOE O 414.1D, 10 CFR 830 Subpart A.
• Familiar with fabrication, design and construction codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and interaction with all management levels and diverse customers.
• Ability to drive corrective actions and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in QA audits, surveillances, and assessments as scheduled.
• Interface with Projects to track remediation and closure of emergent issues.
• Provide QA SME input for work order planning, reviews, and closeout of documentation.
• Prepare inspection planning packages and monitor field implementation.
• Review procedures and documents for operations, maintenance, engineering, and environmental tasks.
• Provide regulatory interpretation and technical assistance to staff on project tasks.
