Job summary

Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC in Idaho Falls seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to perform QA audits, assessments, and ensure compliance with QA standards and federal/state requirements.

You will help develop and maintain programs, review design and procedure documents, manage nonconformances, oversee supplier data, and support training and qualifications for assigned tasks; US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 12 years relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Must be able to qualify as a Quality Engineer.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a "L" Clearance.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Participate in QA audits, surveillances, and assessments as scheduled.
• Interface with all Projects to facilitate remediation and closure of emergent issues.
• Provide QA SME input for work order planning, reviews, walkdowns, and closeout of documentation.
• Prepare inspection planning packages and monitor field implementation.
• Review procedures and documents for operations, maintenance, engineering, radiation protection, environmental, etc.
• Provide regulatory interpretation and technical assistance to staff.
• Interface with support groups to identify and develop solutions for non-compliant issues.
• Review and approve procurements and related documents including SOWs, IR/COs, and vendor data.
