Job summary

Idaho Environmental Coalition in Idaho Falls is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector – NDE/Mechanical. This full-time, on-site role provides QA inspection support across ICP projects, ensuring compliance with company, regulatory, and customer requirements.

You will review data, assist Quality Engineers, and act as an ICP representative in the field and at vendor facilities. The role also includes QA over-sight during subcontracted activities and hold-point inspections.

Qualifications

• Must have current NDE Level II or III certifications.
• Able to qualify as Level II Inspector (VT/MT/PT) and General Inspector Level II.
• Thirteen years of relevant fabrication, construction, weld inspection, and NDE experience.
• Competency in reading codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ASTM).

Responsibilities

• Provide general, mechanical, and NDE Quality Control inspection support to projects.
• Assist Quality Engineers during design reviews, document reviews, and inspection planning.
• Act as ICP representative in the field and at vendor facilities.
• Perform QA oversight and surveillances of subcontracted, construction, operations, and maintenance activities.
• Provide inspection support during overtime and material receipt inspections.
