Star Staffing is seeking a QA Compliance Coordinator in Petaluma, CA. The role supports Food Safety and Quality Assurance by maintaining programs, organizing documentation, coordinating training, and assisting with audits in a food manufacturing setting.

You will balance office documentation with time on the production floor, ensuring systems stay current and compliant across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Agricultural Science, or related field plus 1–2 years QA experience in food manufacturing.
• HACCP or PCQI certification with knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food safety and quality systems aligned with daily operations.
• Coordinate audit preparation and internal audits.
• Support employee training and track training records.
• Draft and update SOPs, sanitation procedures, and work instructions.
• Maintain supplier approval records and product specifications.
• Collaborate with R&D to identify regulatory requirements for new products.
• Organize complaint records and support process improvements.
