Sirius Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Chemist for a manufacturing facility in Blair, NE to support laboratory testing, quality assurance, and production operations by analyzing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on analytical laboratory experience, a strong chemistry background, and the ability to troubleshoot instrumentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related scientific field with a strong emphasis in chemistry.
• Experience working with analytical laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, NIR, or ICP.
• Knowledge of analytical testing methods and laboratory procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Collect and analyze raw material, in-process, and finished product samples to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Perform analytical testing using laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, NIR, and ICP.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Analyze, interpret, and document laboratory results using LIMS and SAP.
• Monitor production processes and provide recommendations for process adjustments.
• Evaluate raw material shipments and finished products for quality approval.
• Troubleshoot laboratory and production-related issues to support efficient operations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and technical teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Assist with training employees on laboratory procedures, analytical methods, and quality systems.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and follow established safety and quality procedures.
• Support compliance with HACCP, ISO 9001/14001, and applicable quality standards.
