Job summary

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Chemist for a manufacturing facility in Blair, NE. The role focuses on analyzing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.

You will troubleshoot instrumentation and support production in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on analytical laboratory experience, a strong chemistry background, and excellent documentation and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
• Experience with GC/HPLC/NIR/ICP.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze raw material, in-process, and finished product samples to ensure quality.
• Perform analytical testing using laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, NIR, and ICP.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Document laboratory results using LIMS and SAP.
• Monitor production processes and recommend adjustments.
• Evaluate raw material shipments and finished products for quality.
• Support training of employees on procedures and quality systems.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and uphold safety and quality procedures.
• Assist with HACCP and ISO 9001/14001 compliance.
