Job summary

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician III for a direct hire opportunity at a chemical manufacturing facility in Greensboro, NC. The role focuses on laboratory testing, quality assurance, and analytical operations within a compliant environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong chemical laboratory testing experience, analytical instrumentation expertise, and a background in quality management systems, including hands-on chromatography and familiarity with SAP QM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in a chemical, analytical, or quality control laboratory.
• Extensive hands-on experience with chromatography and automated chemistry systems.
• Experience with computerized laboratory data management and control systems.
• Documented training in ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing and provide quality control support for chemical manufacturing operations and research and development activities.
• Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and coordinate preventive maintenance of laboratory testing equipment.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of laboratory testing methods and procedures.
• Train laboratory personnel on testing procedures, equipment operation, and quality standards across shifts.
• Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) systems.
• Maintain raw material specifications, inspection plans, and laboratory quality documentation.
• Utilize SAP Quality Management (QM) systems for material movements, inspection data, and quality records.
• Support instrument certifications, analytical method development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits, including supplier audits and verification activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician III for a direct hire opportunity with an established chemical manufacturing facility in Greensboro, NC.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to join the client's team directly.

The Quality Control Technician III will support laboratory testing, quality assurance, and analytical operations, including equipment maintenance, testing procedures, and compliance with established quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical laboratory testing, analytical instrumentation, and quality management systems.

Pay:$28-$31hr.

Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p

Key Responsibilities

Perform analytical testing and provide quality control support for chemical manufacturing operations and research and development activities.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and technical teams.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance.

Ability to perform physical activities associated with laboratory and manufacturing operations.

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection when necessary.

Ability to work safely in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment.

Flexibility to support extended shifts as required.
