Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Lead Quality Automation Engineer to direct the development and execution of comprehensive automated testing strategies. The role focuses on aligning with SAFe Agile practices, mentoring teams, and driving continuous quality improvement in test automation within a hybrid Farmington Hills office.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 years of quality assurance experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex projects.
• Experience mentoring QA teams, with a focus on technical and professional development.
• Expert-level Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Guidewire GT framework, TestComplete, Postman.
• Expertise with development tools such as Azure DevOps, Atlassian, GitLab, Jira/Xray.
• Extensive experience with scripting languages such as SQL, Python, Java for automation.
• Experience in insurance industry or Guidewire is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum practices.
• Expertise in building test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

Aufgaben

• Lead, design and development of test automation frameworks.
• Define and implement automation strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
• Work closely with product teams to define automation requirements and strategies.
• Manage and administer the execution of manual and automated testing.
• Guide the team in integrating automated test with DevOps pipelines.
• Mentor engineers on automation best practices and code reviews.
• Analyze automation metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure the reliability and robustness of all automated workflows.
• Establish and ensure standards and best practices are met.
• Plan and manage automation projects, including resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables.
• Create and present reports on automation progress, cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Participate, collaborate and lead the Quality Automation Community of practice.
• Follow SAFe Agile practices and participate in SCRUM ceremonies.
