Hiscox, a leading insurer, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Atlanta, GA. You will drive hands‑on automation challenges, support in‑sprint testing, and help strengthen our testing frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with developers, product owners, and QA leadership to elevate quality practices. Join a hybrid workplace with 2–3 days onsite, participate in the Testing Guild, and contribute to performance, security, and observability

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in test automation or software engineering.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native testing.
• Insurance/finance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• In‑Sprint Quality & Testing Support: Participate fully in in‑sprint testing, ensuring stories are validated before completion of each sprint.
• Automation Design & Execution: Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Java, Playwright, and Cucumber across UI, API, integration, and regression layers.
• Product Quality Advocacy: Monitor quality indicators and support performance, security, and observability test initiatives.
