Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Alpharetta, GA, seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET) with strong Playwright expertise to design and maintain scalable automation for web apps. You will lead UI, API, and database testing within an Agile team and drive CI/CD integration.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in QA automation, hands-on Playwright, and proficiency in TS/JS/C#. This on-site role offers diverse benefits and collaboration across Development, BA, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with automation framework development.
• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer (SDET) with strong expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in test automation, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software testing practices within Agile environments.

• Performance testing knowledge using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience with Docker and containerized test execution.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets domain.

Nice to Have

• Experience migrating Selenium frameworks to Playwright.
• Accessibility testing experience.
• Security testing awareness.
• ISTQB Certification.
