Parsons is seeking a Mid-Level QA Automation Test Engineer to join our Mission Solutions team. You will design and implement automated tests for a React/TypeScript application, ensuring quality and reliability in a wargame simulation environment with complex geospatial capabilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with developers and stakeholders, building scalable automation frameworks, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines within an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and 5+ years in QA, test automation, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests using TS, Playwright, and Cucumber.
• Build end-to-end, functional, integration, and regression tests for React/TypeScript apps.
• Create reusable automation frameworks and reporting components.
• Analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and document defects clearly.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and support agile ceremonies.
