Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a QA Automation Engineer II to join a Scrum team and drive quality for one of our Charles River products. You will create automation scripts, run comprehensive tests, maintain libraries, and lead QA practices while collaborating with developers and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and the ability to translate requirements into robust, scalable test solutions across REST and UI layers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing in a process-driven tech environment.
• Experience programming with Java, C#, SQL and shell scripting.
• Strong automation/testing of REST APIs and Web UI; cloud-based distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for product features.
• Execute manual and automated functional, integration, and performance tests.
• Lead QA practices within the Scrum team and document defects.
• Collaborate across teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.
