Job summary

State Street in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced technology leader to drive strategy, governance, and enterprise adoption of Software Quality Assurance and Testing platforms across the SDLC. This role manages the QA tool ecosystem, enables automation at scale, and ensures compliance with regulatory and business objectives.

The leader will partner with application teams, architecture, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and vendors to deliver a modern, scalable quality engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years in software development, QA, or automation roles.
• In-depth knowledge of QA automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Tosca, Playwright, UFT).
• In-depth knowledge of performance testing platforms (LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad).
• Experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for enterprise quality engineering and test automation platforms.
• Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of engineers and platform specialists.
• Assess and recommend automation tools that fit organizational needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation.
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops to promote tool adoption.
• Provide guidance for UI and performance testing tool users.
• Lead initiatives for continuous automation and best practices.
• Manage upgrade, maintenance, and support of automation tools and cloud services.
• Migrate all tools to public cloud – AWS or Azure.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in automation tools.
