You will help us build resilience and execute day to day deliverables at our best.Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forAs QA Automation Engineer II you willWork closely with the scrum master, product owner, architect, business analysts, product specialists, developers and other project team members to assist in carrying out the software quality responsibilities of the Scrum teamCreate comprehensive test automation scripts from business requirements and functional specifications documents for product features of moderate complexityExecute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance testsMaintain automated and manual test script libraries for functional, integration, regression, and performance testingAlign with the Software Development Life Cycle practices, comply with Information Security and Data Governance practicesInterpret results of automation tests and document software defects in issue tracking system; proactively communicate issues with developers and other project team membersProvide testing leadership by identifying opportunities for improvement in the Scrum team’s QA methodology, innovate by researching and recommending new approaches to automation of testing, including use of Artificial IntelligenceAdhere to a testing schedule to ensure efficient and effective product deliveryActively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the CRD Scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectivesParticipate in group testing activities as neededWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleStrong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skillsCommunication and Collaboration SkillsProgramming, automation tools, and a strong understanding of QA methodologies.Education & Preferred QualificationsB.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study or Business with an MIS background. MS degree strongly preferred.4 - 7 years of experience in software testing in a process driven technology environmentDemonstrated experience programming with Java, C#, SQL and shell scripting languages such as PowerShell and BashDemonstrated experience testing Rest APIs and Web UI automated testingDemonstrated experience testing cloud-based, distributed systemsTalend experience strongly desiredExpert ability to translate business requirements into technical testing solutions.Detail-orientated with excellent written and verbal communication.Solid understanding of development technologies, e.g. C#, HTML5, JavaScript, REST, AngularJS, Python.Experience in Micro Services, Web services testing using SOAP and REST based service and XML, JSON.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub and other relevant tools.Hands-on experience in developing, maintaining and supporting automated test suites.Extensive exposure to testing tools such as Selenium Webdriver, Gradle, Jenkins, REST AssuredFamiliarity with TeamCity, Git, Confluence, JIRA, Docker, ELK stack, DynatraceStrong experience with database testing (Oracle, SQL/NoSQL).Knowledgeable in one or more CRD functional areas strongly desiredA minimum of 3 years working with an Agile development methodology strongly desiredSalary Range:$65,000 - $113,750 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
