Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a QA/Test Automation Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions within an Agile and DevSecOps environment. You will design, develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive testing strategies across the SDLC, partnering with developers, product owners, and DevOps to validate functionality and drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of software quality assurance and test automation.
• Experience supporting Agile Scrum software development environments and CI/CD/DevSecOps.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and integrated enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable assets; create UI, API, database, and integration test suites.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution; perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testability of requirements and timely testing in sprints.
