Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Quality Assurance System Tester to support a large-scale agile software program for the GrantSolutions contract. You will embed with delivery teams to validate features, data flows, legacy touchpoints, and release packages, designing and executing manual and automated tests across the SDLC.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, Scrum Masters, data teams, and Federal stakeholders to ensure reliability, security, accessibility, and data consistency before

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum four years of software QA/testing experience.
• Hands-on experience creating and executing automated tests.
• Experience testing web apps, data integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release validation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and design docs to define test coverage.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for features, data flows, and integrations.
• Develop automated scripts and data sets for regression and exploratory testing.
• Document defects with steps, evidence, and environment details; verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and security teams to ensure quality before release.
