Job summary

Seargin, a dynamic multinational tech company operating in 50 countries, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web apps, APIs, and cloud-based services deployed in AWS.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, perform API testing, analyze results, and collaborate with DevOps and development teams to raise quality standards across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Must have proven QA automation experience.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
• Practical knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, API Gateway).
• Understanding REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architectures.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and defect management.
• Experience with Git and version control.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to improving test automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall software quality.

About the role

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in test automation and cloud-based environments, particularly AWS. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of applications and services running in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and cloud-based services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA Automation or Software Test Automation.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services, such as Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, API Gateway, or other relevant cloud components.
• Understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing integration, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect management, and quality assurance best practices.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with performance, load, or security testing.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in AWS.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
