Silgan Dispensing Systems is seeking a quality inspector responsible for ensuring parts meet specifications. The role involves first piece inspection, in-process audits, and determining conformance according to the quality plan.

Applicants should have 2-5 years in inspection/production, strong math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Independent work style and adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Solid understanding of test equipment.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience.
• Strong working knowledge of fractions, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, focus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Perform first piece inspections using various inspection techniques and instruments.
• Reports unusually high defect percentages and reviews non-conformances.
• Conduct in-process audits to ensure conformance to standards.
• Determine product conformance and identify status of non-conforming parts.
• Assist operators with quality-related training and development.
