Job summary

Western & Southern Financial Group in Fremont, CA seeks an Agency Quality Assurance Analyst to test system updates across Agency Portal, VUE, Licensing Portal, Salesforce, OnBase and IVR. You will help develop business and test requirements, create test cases and perform UAT for new projects.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams, document defects, track tickets in JIRA and related tools, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in QA or BA capacity required.
• Demonstrated experience in UAT environments of software systems.
• Experience in writing business requirements and test cases.
• Insurance industry knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Business Analyst with writing and reviewing business/system requirements and scope statements.
• Create and document test cases.
• Track, test, and close tickets in JIRA, PR, ClickUp and client care systems for enhancements and defects.
• Perform ongoing testing in UAT across environments.
• Support various departments on projects and initiatives.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and help implement system and process improvements.
