Kinsale Insurance in Richmond, VA is seeking a QA Analyst to partner across the SDLC, shaping testability, risk-based quality strategy, and sustainable automation before implementation. You will influence teams to build and release software with quality built in from the start.

The role offers growth alongside experienced engineers and QA leaders, with an emphasis on a high-performing engineering culture and strong collaboration across Product and Engineering.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into test strategies and cases.
• Experience testing across functional, integration, regression, performance, UI, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and QA practices in modern software delivery.
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and exposure to APM tools and logs.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, own, and solve quality problems independently and as part of a team.
• Design and evolve sustainable, reliable test automation for end-to-end coverage.
• Collaborate with product and engineering early to translate requirements into testable cases.
• Shape risk-based quality strategies before execution, defining coverage and acceptance criteria.
• Incorporate non-functional requirements (performance, security, resilience, observability) into testing planning.
• Clarify requirements with stakeholders and inform scope and priority decisions.
• Diagnose, isolate, and report defects with evidence; verify fixes.
• Mentor others in testing practices and refine quality strategy.
