Job summary

Park Place Technologies, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst I to join our Highland Heights, OH team. The role focuses on manual testing of internal products and integrations with third-party systems, plus authoring comprehensive test cases before production releases.

You will collaborate with developers and business analysts, execute UAT planning, and maintain accurate test documentation. A BS in software engineering or equivalent experience is required, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manual software testing experience (minimum 2 years).
• Ability to review product and feature documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Familiarity with SDLC and software testing best practices.
• Experience designing and communicating test scenarios, test cases, and use cases.
• Experience implementing a quality process.
• Experience with standard software quality release cycles.
• Experience troubleshooting issues and risk analysis for product deployment.
• Strong eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, author and manually test appropriate test cases for assigned products.
• Interact with appropriate teams to ensure tests give accurate, complete and appropriate coverage.
• Ensure test repositories are kept up to date by adding and updating tests.
• Ensure test management procedures are being followed and take corrective action where needed.
• Collaborate with teams and participate in planning of UAT prior to product launches.
• Participate in UAT by replicating and writing up issues reported by users.
• Create tickets in system of record for all issues detected during any phase of testing, following the defined team procedure.
• Provide timely and accurate status reports to appropriate stakeholders.
• Perform manual regression testing as defined for products prior to release.
• Become a SME on products assigned to ensure a robust and complete set of test cases are created.
• Be a strong problem solver and possess an excellent work ethic and attitude.
• Collaborate, share and learn from team members and actively follow all team processes.
• Function as an excellent team player that can make significant contributions individually as well as a part of the team.
• Demonstrate willingness to work on your craft and take initiative in learning new skills.
• Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
