Park Place Technologies is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst I in a hybrid work environment. The role focuses on manual testing of internal products and integrations with 3rd party software, plus developing test cases and validating products before production.

Responsibilities include creating tests, ensuring coverage, maintaining repositories, participating in UAT, and communicating status to stakeholders. 2+ years of testing experience and a BS in software eng or equivalent are required.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of hands-on manual software testing experience.
• Ability to review product and feature documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Familiarity with SDLC and software testing best practices.
• Experience in designing, authoring and communicating test scenarios, test cases and use cases.
• Experience in implementing a quality process and standard release cycles.
• Must have an eye for detail.

Responsabilidades

• Create, author and manually test appropriate test cases for assigned products.
• Interact with appropriate teams to ensure tests give accurate, complete and appropriate coverage.
• Ensure test repositories are kept up to date by adding and updating tests.
• Ensure test management procedures are being followed and take corrective action where needed.
• Collaborate with teams and participate in planning of UAT prior to product launches.
• Participate in UAT by replicating and writing up issues reported by users.
• Create tickets in system of record for all issues detected during any phase of testing, following the defined team procedure.
• Provide timely and accurate status reports to appropriate stakeholders.
• Perform manual regression testing as defined for products prior to release.
• Become a SME on products assigned to ensure a robust and complete set of test cases are created.
• Be a strong problem solver and possess an excellent work ethic and attitude.
• Collaborate, share and learn from team members and actively follow all team processes.
• Function as an excellent team player that can make significant contributions individually as well as a part of the team.
• Demonstrate willingness to work on your craft and take initiative in learning new skills.
• Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
