Qualifications

• 2–4 years of QA experience
• ISTQB Certification required
• Strong understanding of QA principles and processes
• Experience with test case and test suite development and execution
• Experience with testing techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Class Partitioning, Decision Table Testing, State Transition Testing, Use Case Testing, Error Guessing, and Exploratory Testing
• Basic Linux knowledge and hands-on experience
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, JavaScript, or a similar language
• Networking fundamentals, including OSI layers, TCP/IP, IP addressing/subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity troubleshooting
• Ability to determine whether an issue is related to the application, operating system, virtualization layer, or network
• Familiarity with Excel, smartphones, tablets, and similar devices

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test suites
• Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Identify, document, and report bugs/defects with clear and detailed information
• Support requirements traceability and testing activities associated with software builds and releases
• Troubleshoot issues across application, operating system, virtualization, and network layers
• Work with Linux environments as part of testing and troubleshooting activities
• Use basic scripting when needed to support testing and troubleshooting
• Maintain clear testing documentation and communicate findings effectively; strong written communication skills are important for this role
