Job summary

Sharp Decisions is seeking a QA Analyst in Jersey City with hybrid work. You will develop and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and coordinate with developers to resolve defects.

The role requires 5+ years' experience and strong SQL, Python, and Microsoft Azure skills. You will ensure traceability of requirements, participate in Agile Scrum calls with the CyberDW team, and contribute to QA process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or QA in banking/financial domain.
• Proficient with Python, SQL and Microsoft Azure stack.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA (Confluence a plus).
• Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
• Ability to scrub and analyze data via SQL.

Responsibilities

Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or business systems analysis. Financial services and banking background preferred.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of and experience in the use of test management tools, i.e., JIRA. Additional experience in use of Confluence would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile or Scrum frameworks. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and documentation skills.
• Must be able to scrub and analyze data. Strong experience writing SQL queries, familiarity with joins, CTEs, looking for data outliers, etc.
