Job summary

INFO ORIGIN in Denver, CO, is seeking a QA Test Analyst to ensure our software applications are reliable, functional, secure, and user-friendly.

The role focuses on manual testing plus automation and API/performance testing, with a strong emphasis on data validation and defect management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in software quality assurance, testing, or quality inspection.
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing principles.
• Experience with QA tools such as Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6, GitLab, Zephyr Scale, or similar tools.
• Strong debugging, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with API testing, databases, defect management, and test case design is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, API, exploratory, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Use developer tools, application logs, HTTP requests, and stack traces to troubleshoot issues.
• Work closely with developers, business teams, and other technical teams to resolve defects.
• Validate data using SQL, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
• Analyze test data and identify potential quality risks.
• Support QA standards, procedures, and continuous improvement activities.
