Job summary

Woodbridge Group is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector/Auditor to operate the Inspection A-frame machine or conduct on-floor audits of finished goods coming off peelers. You will ensure finished goods are received to customer specifications and maintain quality records.

The role requires reading and interpreting work instructions, basic data entry, and ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.

Qualifications

• At least a high school degree or equivalent or up to 1 year related experience or training.
• Familiar with computer skills to enter data and print paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety regulations and use provided safety equipment.
• Read and interpret specifications and production orders.
• This position will frequently require daily and/or weekend overtime.
• Interface with other departments as needed.
• Operate test equipment (ruler, dial thickness gauge) proficiently.
• Record data accurately and maintain quality records.
• Keep area neat, organized and 5S compliant.
• Cross train in other positions as required.
• Other duties may be assigned by supervisor.

Position Summa ry:

This position may be assigned to operate the Inspection A-frame machine or perform on‑floor audits of finished goods coming off from peelers. This position is responsible for finished goods being received by the customer.

Essential Functions:

• Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required. See JSA & PDA for this position for details safety instructions.
• Understand ISO 9001 requirements / Olympic Quality Policy. Always follow work instructions and procedures as established through Olympic Quality Policy.
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Must read and interpret specifications, production orders
• This position will frequently be required to work daily and/or weekend overtime
• Ability to interface with other departments
• Ability to operate test equipment (ruler, dial thickness gage) proficiently
• In some cases, physical capacity, such as strength and good eyesight may be required
• Ability to properly record data
• Basic knowledge of equipment, materials, products, processes
• Ability to communicate finding to others
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel in basic areas
• Keep area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are appropriate
• Cross train in other positions as required
• Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee’s supervisor

Qualifications Include:

At least a high school degree or equivalent; or up to one-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required familiarity with computer skills to enter data and print needed paperwork.
