Job summary

Power3 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer (Python) to join our Ft. Meade, MD area team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance analytics and data-processing software, working individually or with a team to meet documented requirements.

The role requires TS/SCI with a Polygraph and hands-on experience with Python, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and ITSM processes. You’ll contribute to system design, testing, and documentation while leading project efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
• Four years of SWE experience may substitute for degree.
• Two years experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met.
