Job summary

EPAM is seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer with strong Python expertise to join our engineering team. You will own QA initiatives and drive AI-assisted testing across the lifecycle, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software.

You will design automated tests, develop UI and API automation, and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs. The role combines test design, automation, data validation, and AI-driven practices in a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Python and test automation.
• Solid hands-on experience with Pytest, Pydantic, and Requests.
• Strong experience with UI automation, including Page Object Model, CSS selectors, and XPath.
• Experience with REST API testing and Allure.
• Practical understanding of modern LLMs and AI-assisted QA workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI and back-office apps using Python and Pytest.
• Expand automated coverage across UI, REST APIs, and data validation layers.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering practices to test analysis, scenario design, and automation development.
• Break down complex QA tasks into clear steps for AI-assisted execution.
• Create, manage, and reuse QA artifacts within AI-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with developers to improve QA frameworks and processes.
