Job summary

Bank of America in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Software Engineer II to develop and integrate automation solutions within the ECAP platform. You will translate business needs into technical design, contribute to CI/CD, and collaborate across distributed teams to deliver scalable Python-based services.

You’ll work with Product Owners, architects, and engineers to drive modernization, platform stability, and delivery of strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise-scale apps.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and Kafka.
• Strong SQL skills and data platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit tests to meet acceptance criteria and compliance.
• Uses multiple architectural components in design and development of requirements.
• Performs CI/CD activities and promotes best practices.
• Collaborates with Product Owners, architects, stakeholders, and dev teams.
• Provides technical leadership and mentoring across distributed teams.
• Develops and supports Python-based integrations for ECAP.
• Supports production stability, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
