U.S. Bank is seeking an Automation Engineer to test, create, implement, and support robotic process and desktop automations.

The role involves designing, scripting, testing, and maintaining automation solutions of moderate complexity, while coordinating test data and validating performance against defined targets. You will lead or participate in client and technical team collaborations to analyze issues, document capabilities, and define timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience with programming concepts or automating simple processes.
• Experience in automation engineering, software testing, quality engineering, or application development.
• Experience with test planning, test data management, regression testing, and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and testing solutions for customer correspondence applications.
• Design, execute, and support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Partner with business and technology teams to validate customer-facing communications and document templates.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test data strategies to ensure solution quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, automation, and testing-related issues.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of correspondence platforms and automation capabilities.
• Document testing processes, technical specifications, and operating procedures.
• Contribute to project planning, effort estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
