Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving DoD customers, seeks a Python Developer to define, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software on Linux-based systems. You will join a dynamic engineering team supporting Navy operations and improving processes.

This role offers telework up to two days per week and up to 10% travel. A DoD Secret clearance, DoD IAT II, Red Hat Linux experience, Bash scripting, Python, and networking basics are preferred; strong documentation and teamwork are

Formación

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD IAT II certification.
• Experience with Red Hat or similar Linux distributions.
• Experience creating Linux Bash scripts.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Familiarity with layer 2 & 3 switch/router technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop solutions on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
• Work with container technologies (Docker/Podman).
• Instantiate and administer Red Hat virtual machines (KVM).
• Develop applications using Python.
• Research and resolve software bugs.
• Maintain source code in software repositories (Git).
• Perform testbed demos and proofs of concept to leadership.
• Assist subject matter experts with software engineering change requests and documentation.
