Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Junior to Entry/Mid-Level Python CPE Network Automation Engineer in Sunnyvale to support automated testing of routers, access points, extenders, gateways, and other CPE devices.

The role focuses on developing Python and Pytest automation, automating device interactions, analyzing traffic with Wireshark/Tshark, and integrating tests into Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of experience in Python, test automation, network automation, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Python 3, Pytest or unittest, and Bash scripting.
• Working knowledge of Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Paramiko, Netmiko, Requests, Pexpect, or similar libraries.
• Understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VLANs, and routing.
• Basic knowledge of WiFi standards, SSIDs, authentication, and performance metrics.
• Experience with Wireshark or tcpdump.
• Experience using Git.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Python CPE Network Automation Engineer

Seeking a Junior to Entry/Mid‑Level Python Network Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support automated testing of routers, access points, extenders, gateways, and other CPE devices.

• Experience with Pytest fixtures, test parameterization, logging, and subprocess management.
