Job summary

Ford Motor Company is hiring for an EE&S FH PVT Engineer at the Dearborn Truck Plant to lead hardware quality for F-150 modules. You will drive quality improvements across EE&S-owned systems such as body, door, seat, and lighting modules, coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

You will partner with KCAP and VFG teams to ensure end-to-end hardware and software quality, manage ICA/PCA actions, and support launches, with a strong focus on warranty reduction and plant trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office.
• 1+ years experience with AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and ability to work across cultures in an assembly plant.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and drive interim containment actions (ICA) and permanent corrective actions (PCA) to address warranty and quality concerns.
• Take a central role in resolving customer issues and reducing warranty.
• Own customer critical issues and ensure resolution.
• Perform warranty claims analysis using reading claims and vehicle data.
• Bin claims into categories and track improvements in IRIS/SIMPSN.
• Develop, manage, and own SIMPSN projects to deliver Vehicle Line objectives.
• Communicate needs to quality teams and participate in FQRs.
• Utilize external and internal quality data to develop ICA/PCA actions.
• Support VRT with sub-systems and suppliers to address quality concerns.
• Lead plant trials for quality, cost, and supplier improvements.
• Support launch activities and use DET/FDRS for triage.
