Job summary

Input Technology Solutions seeks a Program Manager for the Pressure Systems & Lifting Devices (PVS/LDE) in Greenbelt, MD to provide Safety and Mission Assurance support to NASA GSFC under the SMAS III contract.

The role oversees the Greenbelt PVS and LDE programs, acting as the engineering expert for testing, certification, and revalidation challenges, while driving compliance with OSHA and industry standards.

Qualifications

• ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code knowledge (VIII) and analyses.
• API 579-1 / ASME FFS-1 Fitness-For-Service knowledge.
• NBIC NB-23 knowledge and analyses.
• NDE methodologies per codes and standards.
• Understanding of safe operation of high-pressure systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GSFC Greenbelt PVS and LDE programs, reviewing testing, inspections, and certification.
• Analyze PVS certification issues, including flaw characterization and safety analyses.
• Validate pressure systems for safe operation and resolve legacy documentation gaps.
• Identify current state of Greenbelt PVS program; assign risks and determine certification status.
• Support plan development to bring PVS into compliance with OSHA and industry standards.
• Act as technical advisor on safety technologies and regulatory applicability to facilities and systems.
