Job summary

MRC Global is seeking a Sales & Service Representative to handle B2B customer service through the PVF order process. You will create quotes, process orders, and resolve issues to maximize customer value and support safety, gross margin growth, and operational performance.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer-facing roles or recent post-secondary education in related fields, plus a valid driver’s license. The role involves travel and desk-based work with frequent customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dedicated customer-facing role, inside sales, and/or warehouse services.
• Post-secondary education in technical, trade, or business fields is acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to quotes by sourcing from inventory or external suppliers.
• Build quotes that balance customer value with profitability.
• Identify sales opportunities to grow overall sales.
• Engage with customers using product knowledge to propose add-ons.
• Use company systems to create quotes, locate products, and process orders.
• Ensure compliance with pricing, freight, and delivery KPIs.
• Verify shipment status and communicate updates to customers.
• Coordinate with managers and suppliers to optimize service.
• Support special invoicing, RMA, and PO changes as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and teammates.
