Job summary

Micron Technology, Boise, Idaho, seeks a PCVD Process Engineer to contribute to development, optimization, and sustainment of semiconductor manufacturing processes in a state‑of‑the‑art fabrication environment.

You will collaborate with Process Integration, Equipment, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to improve yield, quality, reliability, and productivity, applying data analytics and AI workflows to monitor processes and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field (see education).
• Graduating before start date or within last 24 months.
• Foundational knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing or related fields.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support development, optimization, and sustainment of PCVD processes to improve performance, efficiency, and yield.
• Analyze process data to identify trends, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Process Integration, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, and other teams to meet objectives.
• Participate in process qualifications, experiments, and continuous improvement using statistics and engineering methods.
• Use data analytics tools to evaluate process performance and drive decisions.
• Explore AI-assisted workflows to enhance monitoring, productivity, and problem solving.
• Document findings and present results to stakeholders.
