Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-year technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build heats for PVD furnaces.
• Place inserts in appropriate fixtures according to process.
• Perform quality inspection and quantity verification of incoming product prior to coating.
• Originate documentation to accompany heats through the Coating Focused Factory.
• Visually inspect coated carbide inserts with unaided eye and microscope.
• Verify product and style match route card.
• Accurately record necessary information.
• Transfer inserts to next work center.
• Daily housekeeping of work area and communication of pertinent information to oncoming shifts.
• Operate other equipment as needed.
