Job summary

Kelly Services is partnering with Kennametal to fill several production positions in Orwell, OH. The role involves in-process and final inspections, preparing heats for PVD coating furnaces, and maintaining accurate records.

Day and second/third shifts are available with hourly pay rates of $19 and $20 respectively, and all positions are temp-to-hire. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, proficiency with measurement tools, and the ability to

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Proficiency with measuring devices and blueprints.
Experience with SAP MII and Access Databases preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and strong safety orientation.
Able to sit or stand for up to eight hours; lift up to 33 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections, including tests and customer certifications.
Build heats for PVD coating furnaces and arrange inserts as per procedures.
Visually inspect coated inserts and ensure compliance with specs.
Record inspection results and approve/reject products per standards.
Operate additional equipment as trained and scan production data.
Maintain documents and communicate shift information clearly.
Follow safety protocols and assist in daily housekeeping.
Collaborate across teams to meet daily production goals and flag quality or safety issues.
