Job summary

The role emphasizes safe forklift operation, attention to detail, and collaboration with Maintenance, Production, Accounting, and Purchasing. A high school diploma and PVC extrusion aptitude are required, with competitive hourly pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Extrusion experience or quick learner of PVC extrusion operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong math skills for counting and calculations.
• Attention to detail, time management and organization.
• Mechanical aptitude for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret the production schedule to evaluate blending and storage needs.
• Estimate compound requirements to support extrusion and route materials accordingly.
• Adjust blender controls to ensure correct daily blends for inventory reporting.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials to and from blender area scales and warehouse.
• Communicate daily with Maintenance, Production, Accounting, and Purchasing.
• Perform maintenance and cleanup of blending and storage areas.
• Assist with monthly raw material inventory and monitor usage for purchasing.
