Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Blending Operator I for the Day shift in Dallas, TX. You will blend raw materials into PVC compound, following production schedules and safety rules.

The role reports to the Shift Supervisor and involves coordinating with maintenance, production, and purchasing to ensure smooth daily operation. Qualifications include a high school diploma, extrusion experience or quick learner, and solid math, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in PVC extrusion or ability to learn rapidly.
• Basic math proficiency for counting and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret production schedules to plan blending and storage.
• Estimate material needs to support extrusion and route silos accordingly.
• Adjust blender controls and hoses for accurate daily inventory reporting.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials to blending areas and warehouse.
• Communicate with Maintenance, Production, Accounting, and Purchasing daily.
• Maintain and clean blending and storage areas.
• Assist with monthly raw material inventory and purchasing input.
