Job summary

NextEra Energy operates as a leading provider of clean energy solutions. The PV Solar Field Technician II role supports O&M for PV solar and battery storage systems at the Wilmot Energy Center in Tucson, AZ.

The technician will perform inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams to ensure safe, reliable energy generation while staying current with industry best practices and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required
• 1+ years of experience required
• Valid driver's license (non CDL) required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of PV solar and battery storage systems.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance including cleaning and component replacement.
• Troubleshoot system failures using monitoring tools and technical knowledge.
• Coordinate with operations and construction teams during projects.
• Generate reports and maintain records of inspections and maintenance activities.
