Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- 3–6+ years of relevant engineering experience
- FE/PE is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of medium and low voltage distribution, switchgear, and industrial controls
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Effective written and oral communications
- US work authorization for full‑time employment
Responsibilities
- Design PV electrical power systems: sizing, layouts, wiring, grounding, BOMs
- Perform power system studies: short circuit, load flow, arc flash, harmonics
- Review equipment data sheets and testing reports
- Prepare project documents: estimates, budgets, studies
- Provide field support and observation reports
- Verify quality of work by designers and drafters
- Maintain codes/standards and client relationships
- Travel 15–25% and participate in safety training
- Attend conferences/training to maintain expertise
