Job summary

Illuminate USA, based in Columbus, Ohio, is hiring a Field Quality Technician to provide on-site customer support, monitor system performance, and conduct site inspections to ensure PV module reliability.

You will perform field diagnostics (IV curve tracing, IR imaging, insulation testing), coordinate repairs, document investigations, and interact with customers professionally while traveling to client sites.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in PV field service, quality, or O&M.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site customer support, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
• Monitor PV system performance using site data, I–V tracing, and imaging inspections.
• Perform structured site inspections, coordinate module replacement, and ensure safety requirements.
