Job summary

Illuminate USA in Central Ohio is seeking Field Quality Technicians to support our new PV module factory in Pataskala. This role provides on-site customer support, performance monitoring, site inspection and repair, and field failure diagnostics to ensure PV module reliability and high customer satisfaction.

You will monitor system performance, identify degradation and hotspots, perform structured inspections, conduct minor repairs or coordinate replacements, and prepare detailed RCA reports

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years PV field service, quality, or O&M experience.
• Strong PV systems knowledge and site safety awareness.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with corrective actions.
• Monitor PV system performance using data, IV tracing, and infrared inspections.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate module replacement; ensure safety compliance.
• Perform root-cause analysis of failures and report findings with corrective actions.
