Job summary
Illuminate USA in Pataskala, OH, seeks a Principal Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality activities for photovoltaic materials and manufacturing processes. You will collaborate across Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and supplier teams to ensure stable capability, robust controls, and high product quality for high-volume production.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
- 5+ years in Supplier Quality Engineering or related roles; high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with supplier audits, development, and quality improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Own supplier quality performance for strategic suppliers and materials.
- Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and capability assessments.
- Plan and execute supplier audits (QMS, process, product).
- Lead AQ during NPI, PPAP, and ramp-up phases.
- Lead complex supplier quality issues using 8D, RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA.
- Apply SPC/DOE to improve process capability and product quality.
