Job summary

Dollar General Distribution Center in Newnan, GA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle merchandise efficiently, move items by hand or forklift, and support all areas of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include verifying received goods, palletizing, replenishing, picking, loading, reporting damages, and upholding safety and quality standards. High school diploma preferred; automated DC experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with automated distribution centers preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems applications preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds regularly and up to 85 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work up to 12 hours in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Move incoming or outgoing merchandise through the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Check, verify, and audit merchandise to ensure correct received items and no damage; enter data into the terminal.
• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats.
• Replenish pick areas as indicated by reports and requests.
• Fill merchandise orders from stores by picking and moving items to conveyors.
