Job summary

Darling Ingredients in Irving, TX seeks a Collaboration Administrator, Purview to govern and secure the Microsoft Purview Suite. You will design data governance, classifications, labels, and retention policies to protect corporate data across its lifecycle.

The role requires expert Purview administration and the ability to integrate Defender, Graph API, and Power Platform for automated compliance workflows. Collaboration with IT and business stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or 3+ years IT role focusing on systems administration, security, or compliance.
• 3+ years administering a Microsoft 365 environment with security/compliance policy configuration (e.g., DLP, retention, sensitivity labels, eDiscovery).
• Demonstrated understanding of core data governance principles and their tech application.
• Expert-level proficiency in the Microsoft Purview portal with full suite implementation experience.
• Experience integrating Purview with Defender and automating compliance workflows using Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements data governance and compliance solutions using the Microsoft Purview suite.
• Develops and manages data classification schemas, sensitivity labels, and retention policies across the data lifecycle.
• Configures and administers Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP) for secure collaboration.
• Leads eDiscovery and audit investigations ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manages the Purview data catalog to ensure assets are cataloged, curated, and discoverable.
