Job summary

EmergencyMD in Irving, TX seeks a Collaboration Administrator for Purview governance, security, and lifecycle management across the Microsoft Purview suite, including MPIP, DLP, retention labels, and eDiscovery.

You will design data classification schemas, apply sensitivity labels, monitor compliance, and collaborate with IT to translate governance policies into technical Purview configurations; training will be provided to end users and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 3+ years in IT focused on systems administration, security, or compliance.
• 3+ years hands-on experience administering a Microsoft 365 environment with security or compliance policy config (DLP, retention, labels, eDiscovery).
• Demonstrated understanding of core data governance principles and their tech application.
• Expert-level proficiency with the Microsoft Purview portal and full suite of governance/compliance tools.
• Experience architecting integrated data protection leveraging Microsoft Defender and Purview.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements data governance and compliance solutions using the Purview suite.
• Develops and manages data classification schemas, sensitivity labels, and retention policies.
• Configures and administers MPIP to prevent data loss and secure collaboration.
• Leads eDiscovery and audit investigations using Purview tools for regulatory compliance.
• Manages the data catalog in Purview to ensure assets are cataloged and discoverable.
• Collaborates with stakeholders and IT to translate governance policies into Purview configurations.
• Monitors compliance posture via Purview portal, reports metrics, and remediates risks.
• Provides SME training on data governance best practices and Purview usage.
• Other duties as assigned.
