Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a Marketing Specialist III to lead proposal development and pursuit preparation for strategic endeavors. You will collaborate with pursuit teams to craft winning strategies and coordinate content across technical staff.

You will coordinate qualification packages, assist in presentation phases, and support client service activities while ensuring clarity, compliance and strong messaging throughout the pursuit process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint and other communications-related software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with Pursuit Champions, Project Managers, Office Sales Managers and other stakeholders.
• Ability to research client needs and develop actionable insights that support pursuit strategy and messaging.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading and document quality control skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, writes and leads qualification packages, proposals and leave behind material for pursuits. Collaborates with technical staff and writes/reviews/edits content for clarity, compliance and key messages.
• Works with pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing research and industry business intelligence.
• Organizes and may lead or support technical staff in the presentation phase of the pursuit, including coaching.
• Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings.
• Supports client service teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, as well as participating in client service team meetings.
• May coordinate division PR activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for division newsletter, and coordinating project awards and other special PR-related projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
